Negotiation with Alice

43: How can we negotiate new relationships with friends who are grieving?

Alice Season 1 Episode 43

Author, Vicki Goodman, talks about how to negotiate the grieving process and how to negotiate supporting others going though the process.

Vicki Paris Goodman is the author of To Sam, With Love: A Surviving Spouse’s Story of Inspired Grief. After the death of her husband Sam, the love of her life, in 2019 Vicki was unexpectedly flooded with optimism and a breadth of possibilities for an exciting and meaningful future. Revelations and a deeper understanding of life and death presented themselves; insights she knows will enable others to face such a loss from a more positive perspective.

Ms. Goodman is a retired mechanical engineer and real estate appraiser. Today she is a singer and semi-professional violinist. For over twenty years she served as theater critic for a Long Beach (CA) area newspaper.

My experience was so optimistic, and so replete with possibilities for an exciting future life, that I want to help people to find some of the inspiration and positivity of outlook that I found.
